New Year's Eve Party Favors

Hi!  I'm so excited to show my new Candy Tube Party Favors that are absolutely perfect for New Year's Eve :)  They can totally be for any party since they're kinda "general celebratory flair" but NYE isn't the same without a PARTY BLOWER so I styled these with that in mind :)  Hope you like!  On sale now in my Etsy Shop, The Confetti Armory.

Thanks for reading!!

Race Car Party: Avery's Formula Four

Hi guys!  Avery turned FOUR in September and I'm happy to share of the pics with you :)  The theme this year was Formula One Racing and it was so much fun to plan.  He's growing so fast, and it's so nice to celebrate as the years go by.  Birthdays are so special and my main goal each year is just making sure that Avery and his friends have a blast.  Don't get my wrong, I was crazy with the details when I was planning the party but everything didn't turn out perfect and for the first time, I don't care because it was totally BIG FUN!

Enjoy the pictures by F. Sly Photography.

Favors: Mini tin lunch boxes that held a car, bouncy ball, and stickers

Traffic Light drink containers

Centerpieces were a framed 4, race car flags, and a little race car

Each station was labeled.  At Pit Row they painted cut outs of cars

At the DMV they got to their drivers license :)  This is Avery's lol

FABULOUS and delicious race car cake by Hudson Cakery
My favorite little race car for the party.  I love that it's retro and has a 4!

Speed-O-meter Cookies by Funfavors
Winding Road Lolli-pops
Eat My Dust Cotton Candy
Checkered Marshmallows by Funfavors

Gear Shift Cake Pops by Funfavors

The tire bowls were a big hit!

We were battling the sun and shade for a good shot but this is the dessert tables best shot.  I made the car lift cake stand from a vase and couple wooden planks.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures!

Candy Tube Party Favors

Hi guys!  I'm finally done with my FIRST ROUND of themed Candy Tube Party Favors by me :)  I feel like I have something really special with these tubes.  As of now, there's nothing at all like them around.  Candy tubes at this point have just been used to show off the candy inside with maybe a sticker or tag but no one right now is styling them the way that I am and that's totally not to toot my own horn but I'm really proud of that.

Back when I first started my Etsy Shop, I didn't think of myself as a creative or someone with such great ideas.  I started with things that I saw were popular, that I knew how to make, and things that hundreds of other people were also selling.  It was a start, I got customers but I didn't really believe in what I was doing so I ended up closing the shop and just focusing on party planning.  In early June, a friend of mine was having a party for her son with a Lumberjack theme and I wanted to contribute something really special, and it just came to me....and AXE would be great!  I thought about how I could make one and what would be it's role in the party and that's how the Candy Tube Party Favors started.  It wasn't until recently that I thought about making an entire line of these guys and styling them to match just about any party theme.

I have TONS of ideas for them in all different shapes and sizes but here's my starting line up.  And also a photo of the party that started it all by Dawn Menon of Bee*s Knees Parties.

The 1st Round:  Sesame Street Street Sign, Crayon, North Pole Sign, The Axe, and Rocket

You already know The Witch's Broom!  Halloween, limited edition ;)

*This is the party that stared it all lol (so dramatic!), Dawn styled each Axe with a personalized tag and put a chocolate and sprinkle dipped pretzel inside each one.

Halloween Witch's Broom Party Favor

I'm so excited to share with you my new Etsy Shop....(so excited that I'm going to post about what I've been doing during my time away from the blog later)  I came up with a new item that I think is unique and would be a great addition to any party.  You know those clear gum ball tubes?....these?

Well I've turned those into a whole line of adorable little treat holders for all types of occasions. They're coming out so cute I couldn't wait to share with you the one I did for Halloween, the Witches Broom!

It's perfect as a favor for your little ones' Halloween party or for a candy table display.  I hope you like it too.  I'll be sharing all of my candy tube designs with you this week.  And I promise, once I'm done, we'll catch up on party chatter and what's cooking with The Party Muse and now my Etsy Shop, The Confetti Armory!

Get them in my Etsy Shop: The Confetti Armory

Girly Safari Birthday Party - PART 2

Okay, I didn't want any of the pictures to get lost on one long post so I had to break them up.  The dessert tables and all the beautiful signage really need their own shine :)  You can go to my facbook page to view the entire album from this party tomorrow.

I was so fortunate to find Alison of The English Pea.  She designed all of the signage and custom made a few signs for me.  Her work is super amazing

18x24s at the dessert table sums up the event pretty well : )

Signs for the treat table and also the food room which was dubbed the Watering Hole

I picked tropical/exotic cookie flavors to play off of the safari theme for my milk and cookies bar.  The GREEN TEA SHORTBREAD was fabulous and made by Crumbles Cookie Factory.   The Cinnamon Guava Sandwich cookies were so delicious and made by Zugar Haus

Orange Chocolate Blossoms by Butter Blossoms.  If I told you how good these little cookies were you would think I was exaggerating so I'll simply say, TRY THEM : )

THE MILK, needs no introduction lol

My client had already commissioned the cake from a fabulous cake designer that I was happy to be introduced to.  Elegantly Iced Cakes is AMAZING!!!

Just over the treat table hung the perfect burlap banner also from Haley Davis, such beautiful work.

The treat table was so fun to design.  I included some nature elements with the tree stump cake riser, and the moss ball trees atop the tree stump vases.  I spray painted some tine tin planters and they became the perfect vessels for my milk.  The signage ties in all of the safari prints perfectly.

The guests walked away with a delicious cookie from Fun Favors which was an amazing iced shortbread cookie.  SO YUM!

Vendor List for Part 1 and 2:

Burlap banners: Haley Davis

Hope you enjoyed :)
